We can’t say it enough: our volunteers are everything. From the auntie prepping trays of koshary at 5 AM to the young newcomers helping set up sound systems, every smile, every plate, every post shared online comes from someone who gave their time to uplift others.

At AEVAN, we believe that every role matters—whether you’re setting up chairs, handing out flyers, or just showing up early to help carry things from the car. We celebrate you. ❤️

🧩 Key Ingredients to a Great AEVAN Event:

1. A Clear Purpose

Every event begins with a “why.” Is it to celebrate culture? To support newcomers? To raise funds? Once we’re aligned on purpose, everything flows from there.

2. Early Planning & Realistic Budgets

We plan at least 4–6 weeks in advance. We scout venues, allocate budgets, coordinate with vendors, and make sure the event is inclusive and accessible.

3. Team Leads & Task Delegation

No one can do it alone. Each event has leads—logistics, food, kids’ activities, cleanup, social media—and our WhatsApp groups become a storm of energy and coordination!

4. Sponsorships & Local Support

We love working with Egyptian and Arab-owned businesses. Whether it’s a donated dessert tray or a discounted catering deal, community uplift is mutual.

5. Last-Minute Adaptability

Rain on BBQ day? Someone forgot the mic cable? We adapt, we laugh, and we make it work. Every event brings surprises—and we roll with them.
